Rigorous design approach and highly tuned aesthetic allied to a vast knowledge of materials and structures enables us to achieve architects’ designs on budget and on time. We refurbish spaces, build architectural exhibitions and regularly assist in the design and manufacture of prototypes. We have acquired a list of young and established architecture clients, and have worked with R.I.B.A on achieving a bold and excellent exhibition programme over the past fifteen years.
ADi’s Shoreditch workshop manufactures a huge variety of permanent and temporary exhibition walls, display cases, vitrines, lightboxes, plinths, along with bespoke designer concepts, exhibition furniture and hanging systems.
A highly tuned art sensibility results in a rare understanding of the diverse demands of artists and galleries. We build permanent walls, supply and erect temporary exhibition walls. We make plinths, vitrines, exhibition furniture and install graphics. We also provide bespoke artwork protection and barrier systems. ADi has designed and undertaken the install of thousands of art works.
Solving and delivering the unusual is our norm. From curved cinema screens, walls made of light, a rotating caravan, a camera obscura on a hospital roof, sculptures made out of trampolines, giant bubble machines, Richard Wilson’s 20:50 (a room filled with engine oil) inside and outdoors in venues ranging from galleries to schools, churches, parks, shops, tube stations, banks, multi-storey car parks, ships, The Houses of Parliament to Venice Bienale and once even inside a badgers’ set!
